Mine Tan is great for special occasions to keep your skin glowing week in week out with no orange tinge. The process only takes 10-15 minutes, you will immediately notice a difference in colour which will continue to develop over the next 2-5 hours depending on what tanning solution your therapist and you decide that is applied.Y ou can expect the tan to last up to 5 – 7 days depending on skin type and providing you have followed pre and post tanning instructions.

 

Before Tanning

To ensure that you get the best results from your spray on tan, it is important that you exfoliate your body 24 hours prior to your appointment. Pay particular attention to any dry rough areas such as knees, elbows, ankles and feet. Do not apply any moisturisers or perfumes on your skin immediately prior to your appointment as it can reduce the effect of your tan.

Clothing

We recommend wearing dark and loose fitting clothes to your tanning appointment . We do supply disposable G-strings or alternatively you can wear anything you feel comfortable in. After application minor rub off can occur on clothing or bed sheets, it will easily wash out of most fabrics, some light clothing materials may stain.

After Tanning

Once the tanning solution as been applied you must let it completely dry we will ensure it is dry before you leave, but in precaution do not wet your skin for at least 2 hours after your appointment. Showering the next morning is an option. We recommend not to exercise or perspire excessively in the developing stages.

During your first shower do not be concerned when seeing bronzer coming off, this is part of the process and your tan will continue to develop. It is also very important that you do not use any soaps or body washes during this initial rinse. After showering gently pat dry with the towel. To keep your tan looking its best for as long as possible avoid long baths, spas and extended swimming activities. Moisturising daily will prolong the life of your tan.

Reminder: tanning solution does not contain sunscreen, make sure you apply sunscreen when outdoors to prevent sunburn.
